KATHMANDU: Arya Pharmalab has partnered with Chitwan Medical College to set up a seven-day community health camp for flood-affected families in Nuwakot.

Targeting residents of Bidur Municipality, the camp will operate across three locations: Salochana School in Bidur-7, Trishuli School in Ward No. 5, and Bhairav Danda in Ward No. 9.

Local residents will receive free health check-ups and medical consultations from specialist doctors, alongside free testing services for various illnesses and necessary medicines. Arrangements are also in place to identify patients who require further medical attention and refer them to appropriate health institutions.

Arya Pharmalab stated that the programme addresses the financial and practical obstacles preventing many affected families from reaching health facilities after the floods.

The company added that its work, ranging from providing medical supplies to delivering direct community care, reflects a commitment to support affected families through recovery and help mitigate heightened health risks under its corporate social responsibility.

The initiative follows the company's earlier donation of essential medicines valued at over Rs 8.2 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
